Software is available in many forms and on different platformas (e.g. CD, DVD, download or streaming). Software is protected by copyright law, and you need a licence or permission from the copyright owner in order 

What is permitted?:

  • Students and staff at Aalborg University may use software made accessible by the university. Your access expires once you are no longer enrolled as a student or leave employment at AAU. View relevant links and terms of use below.

What is not permitted?:

  • You are not permitted to download software from unauthorized providers.

In many cases, it is possible to download a free trial version of the software that you can use for 30 days.
